...Bedding

... I bought white bedding. I love it. Really do! I have gray walls. I need inspiration for throw pillows. Do I use color or keep them white? I don't want to go overboard, but I want it to look good.

So what's a girl to do? Do I go BOLD or keep.it. simple?

...Happenin'

... I've recently started watching "Glee" on Netflix. I am hooked! I have been having dreams that I am in the Glee Club! I dance and sing in my dreams just like in the show. I have officially been "Gleed" and I am ok with it!

...We had 2 parties for Clara this weekend. We are just coming out of our food/sugar coma! It was so fun! The weather didn't cooperate with our (my) plans, but that's ok we made do.

... Nolan's city Softball league starts tomorrow. (Wahoooooooo!!!!) To say that I am excited would just be an understatement! I love Softball time! Olivia gets to play till she is tired and I get to chat it up with some of my favorite gals!

...Pandora is the bomb! I love the Classic Country Station! Nolan & I know almost all the songs by heart and bring back a flood of memories of the good 'ol 90's!

...My 10 yr class reunion is in a few months. I am on a mission to lose some of this weight and my reunion is a good incentive!

...Nolan is almost done with welding our front fence and then PAINT!!!

...Papa Stewart is building the most AWESOME playhouse/ mansion for Olivia & Clara. It's is so cool! I can't wait to decorate it!

...Easter

... I am a Holiday person! I love them! I love to decorate for them, cook for them, eat with family on them! Poor Easter this year was the day before Clara's birthday. I was/am in denial about her turning 1 and didn't want to come to terms with it. So Easter got forgotten! Well kind of! I bought the girls dresses about and that.was. it! We didn't dye eyes, we didn't decorate, we didn't do ANY.THIN.G! Oh well there is always next year! We did eat with our families and did hunt for eggs! Olivia loved hunting for eggs. Aunt KK told her that she was going to be at the Egg hunt and that was all Olivia could talk about for days and days and days (she loves everyone more than boring 'ol mom). This is the 1 and only picture I got on Saturday ...

(Olivia with these cousins)

...pathetic I know. My battery died and I was to lazy to go charge it up! I wish I had a picture of the wonderful food, the look on Olivia's face when she would see an egg or Clara when she saw the Rice Krispie treat in her golden egg! But I don't so imagine it! My cousin got married later Saturday night and so I had 2 uncles, 1 Aunt and several cousins in town! It was great! We played games, ate, laughed, ate some more, made fun of Noah, laughed and ate cake! It was great!

Sunday I got the girls all gussied up for church! They looked so adorable!! I fell in love with their, dresses all over again! Church was great as usual. Clara was screaming fighting sleep, Olivia threw a fit during Primary when I would let her help me with Singing Time (oh yeah I am the Chorister! It's the best!), Clara barfed all.over.her.dress!! Nasty! She screamed during the last part of Primary, I started sweating like a pig because it was seriously 190 degrees in the church. All in all it was a GREAT and NORMAL church day! Nolan parents had us over for dinner. We ate till our buttons popped and then we kept eating! Olivia fell asleep on Grammy after throwing a fit, Clara was still fighting sleep and smelt like barf and it was raining outside. So after we woke Olivia from her little slumber, my awesome mother-in-law did an egg hunt with Olivia inside and she loved it! I didn't even bust my camera out once on Sunday afternoon! I am so lame! But here are my girls before church!

Aren't they so cute!

Happy Easter!

... Caught up with Life

... Okay, Okay, Okay!

I know I have been M.I.A for the last few months. Winter was long and boring. Our lives consisted of staying home, watching movies and maybe breaking out the sewing machine here and there. The girls have grown like weeds!

Clara turned 1 on Monday (4/25). I can't believe it! I am in such denial! I am the loser mom that didn't buy her birthday present till Saturday. Don't judge me! She is so sweet, I just love her to death. If she had an ounce of chub on her I would squeeze it and kiss it. But she doesn't, so I will just squeeze and kiss her little bird legs! She isn't walking (phew!) yet, she is a speedster crawler! She has a new found love for baby dolls. She always has 1 in her arms or nearby. Don't try and pry them out of her fingers either, but you will see a real temper! My dad has got her addicted to Rice Krispies (that's my girl) and Dr. Pepper (don't judge us!). Despite Clara being tiny she can flat out put the food away. There are many meals where she out eats Olivia, no joke! Clara is so sweet, I am totally smitten with her sweet face and big toothy grin!

Olivia, oh Olivia! Well she is 3! Enough said right?! She has tested her limits to the end and back again! There have been many days were I was ready to put her up for sale on Craigslist. But oh I love her! The things she says crack me up! She tells me at least once a week that she wants me to work and for her daddy-o to stay home with her and Clara! No joke! I have deemed myself as the Wicked Witch of the West and am proud of it! She loves to read, play beauty shop with anything that has hair, and still love Tink! Though her new found loves are Strawberry Shortcake and Tangled! She is already planning her 4 birthday of what kind of party she wants to have! Olivia is Miss Independent to a T! ( I totally deserve her) I have had so much fun seeing things thru her eyes. It makes me re-learn to appreciate the small things. She loves to sing and sing and sing often at the top of her lungs!

Me, Well I am still me! I still find peace in sitting down in front of my sewing machine. It is seriously my happy place. My mind is constantly going of what my newest creation is going to be. The problem is not having enough time in the day! So I have been trying to talk Nolan into building me a craft shed where I can escape anytime and lock the door. He isn't on board yet!

Nolan is busy, busy, busy (who isn't though). Work, church and school keep him pretty booked up. We cherish our time with him! He has worked is little booty off the last few months putting up fencing. Landscaping is a pain! But it looks so nice! Softball starts soon and we all are excited to spend evening cheering on our dad! Well, I am looking forward to chatting it up with the ladies I haven't seen in a year!

So as of May 1st my goal is to post at least once a week! Maybe more?! But hopefully not less! Just for fun here are my sweet girls on Easter! I just love them!

...Tink

... Olivia has found a new obsession and it has taken over all our lives. She loves the Tinkerbell movies, and couldn't wait for the 3rd one to come out. Before it did, she kept having her imaginary Tink come and play with her. They would color, cook in her kitchen, and make the BIGGEST messes EVER! Like every toy & book she owned would find it's way out! I didn't like it when Tink came to visit, because that meant bigger messes for me to clean up! But on the other hand I loved it when Tink came because she entertained Olivia for hours and hours. The sweetest thing was when Olivia would hold her hand out, palm up, and walk around the house talking to her little friend. CUTE!

So of course for Halloween she wanted to be Tink! Almost every meal is eaten on her Tink plate. She has 2 sets of pj's that must be clean for her to wear nightly! Pretty much we are living in a Tink heaven!

... 3 years older and wiser too

... Our Olivia turned 3 on Oct. 25th. She has patiently waited for this day for many, many months. We practiced holding up 3 fingers, and she was becoming a pro at blowing out candles. We HAD to have a Tinkerbell party, because nothing is better in Olivia's world then Tink! Our families came to celebrate with us and we had a great time!

Aunt Rachelle decorated the DELICIOUS cake that Grandma Stewart made!

Happy 3rd Birthday Olivia! You have been a joy to have in our lives! We love you sweet girl!

...Olivia's Hairy Problem

... Soon after Clara was born I noticed that Olivia's hair was thinning on top. I would brush her hair and most of it would end up on my lap. So all summer long I have had to plaster her hair down while we patiently waited for more of it to come in. Here is a few pictures to show you what I mean.

See what I mean? I don't understand, but I can't wait for her to have her beautiful straight locks back! Until then we will be buying Hairspray in bulk!

... Our Summer Project

... We have lived in our house since 2005. Things in our house have pretty much stayed the same since the day we moved in (except for a little paint here and there). Well after thinking long and hard we decided that we need to do a little "switch-a-roo". Our Living Room had French doors that went outside to our back yard & the Dining Room had a large window in it. So we switched!

Before...

After...

...We have LOVED the switch! You may notice that the window in the "Before" picture and the one in the "After" picture are different! Well if you didn't they are. Funny Story! While Nolan and his dad were framing up for the door a gust of wind came thru and threw the window off the back porch! No Lie! It shattered! We couldn't find a exact match, so we decided to put in 2 windows instead of 1 big one! We love the change and wonder now why we didn't build it that way!

Now just to get some pictures on the wall....hmmmm Hobby Lobby anyone?
